Attendance Heroes

Attendance Heroes - Here Everyday Ready On time. 

Attendance Heroes play an important role in promoting the importance of good attendance and punctuality at school.

Attendance Heroes are chosen because they had the highest attendance in their class during the previous school year. They meet with Mrs Edmunds regularly to discuss attendance figures and to discuss ways of encouraging improved attendance with their classes.  They are awarded an Attendance Hero badge  which they wear with pride. 
 

Attendance Heroes hold weekly assemblies where points are given to the classes whose attendance is over 95%. The higher the attendance, the more points the class earns. The class in Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 with the highest weekly attendance have the privilege of looking after one of our attendance mascots - Edna and Otis.
