2A Information
Welcome to the class page for 2A.
PE
Every Tuesday we have PE. The sessions are usually outdoors (COVID) so please make sure the children wear comfortable clothes and trainers.
Spelling Test
Tuesday is also the day for our spelling test . the words will be put onto DOJO regularly. The group your child is in will be posted individually to you. The groups may change but you will be informed .
Reading
We would like you to encourage your child to develop a reading habit. Regular reading for a short time daily is much better than one longer session.
We will change books on Tuesday and Friday. Please remember to return books to school in your child's reading folder.
Fresh Air Friday
We explore outdoors (weather permitting )on Fridays - please could your child wear trainers and remember their coat!
Parents Evening
This has been arranged for November 8-9 . appointments will be sent out nearer to the date. Any questions meanwhile please don't hesitate use class dojo to contact me .

Spring Term 2022
Our topic this term is 'School days'. We will be learning about schools during Victorian times and the Truant school in Edwardsville. We will be comparing them to school life now and we will also be designing our own future school.
Our class book is going to be Matilda by Roald Dahl.
We will be looking at artwork by James Rizzi and creating our own masterpieces.
To celebrate St David's day we will be learning about the Story of St David and exploring our Welsh heritage and culture.
