Phonics/Reading (Read Write Inc): Your child will learn our RWInc sounds during the Autumn term alongside letter formation. We will work on blending the letters together to read words.

When we feel that your child is ready we will send home books to read/ discuss at home. 
 

PE day:
On Mondays please ensure that your child is dressed in suitable clothing for P. E (leggings, joggers, t-shirt, trainers) and also for the weather as some lessons will take place outdoors. 

Autumn term

Our topics this term are: Ruby's Worry and The Blue Penguin

At the start of the term our main priorities are settling the children and getting them confident with a new environment and routines.

We will then move onto our project work with a focus on Ruby's Worry. This book will help support the children through their transition period and also with talking about how they feel and showing their emotions.
