Please can all reading books be returned to school before Thursday each week so that they can be changed and given out in Fridays.
PE day:
On Fridays please ensure that your child is dressed in suitable clothing for the outdoors (cold and hot weather) as we will be taking part on Fresh Air Fridays!
Our topic this term is: Magnificent Monarchs
Throughout this topic we are going to be looking at different monarchs such as Queen Elizabeth and learning about the monarchy timeline. We will be researching facts about different monarchs and creating a timeline of their lives. We will also be learning about portraits and having a go at creating our very own royal portrait!
Our topic will kick off with a Kings and Queens immersion day! We are very excited!

Spring Term
Our topic this term is 'School days'. We will be learning about schools during Victorian times and the Truant school in Edwardsville. We will be comparing them to school life now and we will also be designing our own future school.
Our class book is going to be Matilda by Roald Dahl.
We will be looking at artwork by James Rizzi and creating our own masterpieces.
To celebrate St David's day we will be learning about the Story of St David and exploring our Welsh heritage and culture.
